We do not want to compete or undercut o her bicycle shops in HRM. We believe in “sweet equity”. This involves people participating in the shop, whether helping to fix bikes, organizing parts, helping out with community events, paper work, etc.. We encourage people to give back what they feel they can. This gives everyone a chance to contribute to the project, and creates a sense of community between people who might never meet otherwise

Bike Again! Community Project is a completely volunteer run organization and relies on small funding grants and donations from the community.

Donations can be in the form of bikes and bike parts, tools and supplies, food, and yes we do accept monetary donations which we will provide a receipt for income tax purposes.

So, instead of selling your bike to a used bike store or putting it curbside, where it will eventually end up in a landfill, why don't you donate the bike to a local, community based organization trying to make a difference.

We have had over 10,000 volunteer hours donated to help us repair bikes and to help others learn how to repair their own. We strongly encourage people who use our services to volunteer to help others.
