Phone surveys: Volunteers needed to make phone-calls to people who took our cooking classes or other food-related workshops in the last year.
You'll ask them some questions about their food experiences and fill in a (paper or online) questionnaire while listening to their responses.Skills needed: you must feel comfortable calling people (likely in the evenings), explaining who you are and why you are calling and encouraging them to spend 10 minutes answering questions so we can evaluate the impact of the classes. You will do this from the comfort of your own home,
in your own time. The calls need to be made consistently over the month of February and complete by the end of February.

Tablecloth Donations – We have acquired a new table for our boardroom and it is in desperate need of a tablecloth (4’x8’) to spruce it up. We were wondering if anyone had any old tablecloths kicking around their house that they would like to donate to a good home.

If you have one you would like to donate please contact Lindsay at communications@ecologyaction.ca or drop by the EAC!

Furniture Donation – The EAC is hoping to reinvigorate their front entry way and we are looking for volunteers with friends or family that might be willing to donate some of their gently used armchairs. Our hope is to find two professional looking, matching and comfy chairs, that aren’t too large. We are hoping to use these to make a more welcoming space that can facilitate conversation.

If you know of someone who is looking for a new home for their armchairs please contact Jennifer at groundwater@ecologyaction.ca

Garden Party 2012 – We are being to look for volunteers that would be interested in participating in our annual Garden Party Fundraiser.  It is a fun day that includes a silent auction, a plant sale, and a live auction with an entertaining MC and musical entertainment. We are looking for volunteers that are interested in event planning and marketing / promotion and can commit to meeting twice a month with the Garden Party Committee then we would love to have your expertise!
