Keeping it Covered: EAC Underwear

One of several designs of underwearThe EAC, Nova Scotia's oldest environmental organization, has been working away, coming up with eco-minded slogans to grace the front and back of - yes, you guessed it - sweat-shop free undies.

The Centre's seven issue committees are broad enough to fit everyone's environmental fetish. Cheeky slogans include "Take Action. Get Action" (after all, Action is the Centre's middle name), or for sustainable transportation enthusiasts, "Park and Ride". Market goers might prefer the Food Action Committee's "Eat Local", while ocean-lovers can express their fondness for a "Sensitive Bottom." Meanwhile, wilderness aficionados can choose from "Wetland Protected Area", "How Bout a Treesome", or "This Lawn is Drug-Free". Frustrated about climate change policy and the lack of renewable energy choices? A pair of drawers with "Local Wind Power" emblazoned on the butt is ideal for mooning politicians. All designs were done by Stephen Bishop of HelloDaylight.

EAC prides itself in offering practical, and humorous solutions in a time when solving the environmental crisis can be overwhelming. Undies are available for men and women.
