EAC’s Vision

A society in Nova Scotia that respects and protects nature and provides environmentally and economically sustainable solutions for its citizens.

EAC’s Values

  • EAC aims to engage the public in dialogue for environmental improvement.

EAC’s Purpose

EAC is an independent organization that strives to work with partners to:

  • Provide up-to-date environmental information;
  • Pursue researched solutions; and
  • Act as a watch-dog for the Nova Scotia environment.

 

The Ecology Action Centre has acted as a voice for Nova Scotia's environment for over 37 years. The EAC has been voted #1 Activist Organization by readers of The Coast magazine for six years running. Since 1971, the EAC has been working to build a healthier, more sustainable Nova Scotia.
