Become a Friend of EAC
Invest in the future of our province
An increasing amount of the Ecology Action Centre (EAC)’s funding is coming from Nova Scotians who recognize the value and importance of EAC’s work. In response EAC has established a new category of donor: Friend. Under this program a Friend can support the work of a particular coordinator and initiative by contributing $1000 or more per year for three years. Funding on this scale from individuals is highly appreciated and thankfully, increasingly common. As a result we have established the following categories of Friends:
- Friends of the Coast
- Friends of Energy
- Friends of Wilderness
- Friends of Local Food
- Friends of Halifax
The funding received goes toward supporting the salary our coordinators. We believe there is no better investment in the province. Friends receive a tax receipt and our extreme gratitude. For more information please contact Mark Butler at 902-429-5287 or by email.
