Garden

Our garden was designed and installed by students under Kim Thompson's direction at Dalhousie's Faculty of Architecture.

Through the guidance of our Food Action Committee members, and staff and volunteers interested in urban green space and urban food production, Fern Lane aims to be a demonstration for organic gardening and composting.  Raised beds allow universal access to vegetable and flower gardens.

As part of ensuring good air quality and a healthy work environment, we also have included indoor plants throughout the building.
