Nova Scotia:

Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation (BCAF). A non-profit charitable organization that addresses the environmental concerns within a Lunenburg County watershed.

Bras d'Or Lakes Collaborative Environmental Planning Initiative (CEPI)
The Bras d’Or Lakes Collaborative Environmental Planning Initiative arose in response to a request by the Cape Breton First Nations Chiefs in 2003 to develop an overall environmental management plan for the Bras d’Or lakes and watershed lands.

Clean Nova Scotia. A non-profit environmental organization with a focus on waste reduction, reuse, recycling, composting, and climate change education.

Coastal Coalition of Nova Scotia (CCNS) comprised of member organizations dedicated to the preservation, restoration and sustainable use of the physical, biological and cultural heritage of Nova Scotia's coastal ecosystems

Coastal Communities Network (CCN) provides a forum to encourage dialogue, share information, and create strategies and actions that promote the survival and development of Nova Scotia's coastal and rural communities.

Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy (KCC)

Nova Scotia Nature Trust (NSNT) works to protect representative, rare, outstanding, and unique or otherwise ecologically significant natural features in Nova Scotia

Saint Margaret’s Bay Stewardship Society works to preserve and enhance the Bay's natural environment, its heritage, and its quality of life.

Tusket River Environmental Protection Association (TREPA) responds to concerns around the Tusket River Watershed.

Friends of Port Mouton Bay work on issues of concern to the future of Port Mouton Bay

Atlantic Coastal Zone Information Steering Committee (ACZISC) is a guide to coastal information in Atlantic Canada.

Atlantic Coastal Action Program (ACAP) is a community based program to help restore and sustain watersheds and coastal regions in Atlantic Canada.

Bay of Fundy Ecosystem Partnership (BOFEP) includes individuals and groups who are interested in the health of the Bay.

Bird Studies Canada - Nova Scotia Piping Plover Conservation Program

Conservation Council of New Brunswick (CCNB). Of coastal interest is their Save Our Seas page.

Coastal Zone Canada Association focuses on sustainable management and conservation of coastal areas.

Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment (GOMC) provides information and resources on the Gulf of Maine environment.

Sierra Club of Canada addresses a variety of issues in Atlantic Canada including climate change, environmental education, healthy communities.

Southern Gulf of Saint Lawrence Sustainability Coalition works towards an environmentally, economically and socially sustainable Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence
