Are we on track? Taking stock of ocean conservation in the Scotian Shelf and Bay of Fundy Region Marine protected areas are a crucial tool for helping damaged ocean ecosystems recover. Three environmental groups (World Wildlife Fund, Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and the Ecology Action Centre) have taken a snapshot of the state of marine protection in the waters off Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. |

The Ecology Action Centre has acted as a voice for Nova Scotia's environment for over 37 years. The EAC has been voted #1 Activist Organization by readers of The Coast magazine for six years running. Since 1971, the EAC has been working to build a healthier, more sustainable Nova Scotia.
