First Floor Wood and Air Lighting Water Conservation

10. water conservation

Did you know that switching to a low-flow showerhead can save you up to $200 per year in water and energy savings?

And that low-flow fixtures with the latest technology now mix in air with the water to ensure that water pressure remains the same as in high-flow fixtures?

Wasting water is no longer feasible, desirable or necessary.  Our bathroom features innovative fixtures such as a water-free urinal that eliminates smells and reduces bacterial counts in our bathroom.  We have also installed a dual-flush toilet where guests can choose if they need 3L or 6L of water.  Our low-flow taps and showerhead spray out water heated by our solar energy system on the roof to conserve not only water, but also the amount of non-renewable energy needed to heat it.

We will eventually collect and filter rainwater to use throughout our location.
