Solar energy is a renewable, clean source of energy that can be used to supplement existing energy systems.

Reused solar panels sit atop our roof, and collect solar energy by heating a glycol and water mixture that then continually runs through the panels, into the basement and then back up to collect more heat.  In the basement, heat is transferred to the in-floor radiant heating system and the incoming drinking water.

Despite the high initial costs, domestic solar hot water systems can pay for themselves in 5-10 years. And who can put a price tag on improved air quality and reduced greenhouse gas emissions?
